Noisebleeds seeds were planted in 1998 when three high school friends (then with drummer Kevin) decided to jam and played grinspoon covers. They started to play small gigs and mainly put on small lunch time shows in the NHS halla nd music room when it was either too hot to go outside, to cold to go outside or just plain fucking boring ot do anything else. They then decided to start writing their own songs which were short sharp burst of hardcore noise heavily influenced by distortion and death metal. They were then playing under the moniker of MOCONIUM. They gathered themselves quite a reputation in NHS but more as "Kev, Nashy and Dunny" than as moconium. In late 1999 they broke up and did other things. Now in 2001 Heath and Chris are back as NOISEBLEED with young drummer Gerard. They play loud, hard and fast music and will tear your head off without a second thought.
